The president of the Citizen’s Revolution, Luisa González, has issued a moving statement expressing her deep sorrow and condemnation for the murder of four Ecuadorian children: Ismael, Nehemías, Josué, and Steven.
This tragic event, which has shocked the country, is described by González as one of the darkest episodes in Ecuador’s recent history, pointing to the complicity and neglect of those in power.
González, in a message full of emotion, sympathizes with the families of the victims, saying that “no one should face such indescribable pain.” The president points out that these children’s lives were taken away in an atrocious way and that the whole country is mourning their loss.
In a call to action, González assures that she will not allow this crime to go unpunished. She has urged her caucus and the relevant authorities to launch thorough investigations to clarify the facts and bring those responsible to justice. “We will not rest until the truth comes out and justice is done,” she emphasizes.
